Seals around battery and slots on the left and right seemed to hold, but continuous opening and closing of these panels for charging or computer interface, could cause some leakage and wear of the seals over time. There should be some safe aftermarket sealant one could apply to increase the waterproofness... even a thin layer of silicone sealant (clear caulk or aquarium purpose) around the seal if there is wear may be a good cheap option. Review: slow file transfer using Arcsoft internal media transfer program for larger movies over 30 min transfer may be several minutes. Does the job for under 0 camera, no media card included, my 16GB Kingston HCSD card for was more than enough for a few hrs of movie before you have to dump to a computer.
